ニジゲンノモリは、新アトラクション『ゴジラ迎撃作戦 ～国立ゴジラ淡路島研究センター～ 』オープンに先駆け、同アトラクションの一部である、ゴジラの世界観を体験できる世界初の常設型『ゴジラミュージアム』を2020年8月8日(土)から先行オープンします。また本施設オープンにあたり、オリジナルコラボグッズ・フードの先行販売や、ちびゴジラをモチーフにした「吹き戻し」作り体験などのワークショップを実施いたします。世界初の常設『ゴジラミュージアム』では、ゴジラ映画の特撮美術を担ってきた株式会社東宝映像美術の協力のもと、映画撮影にも使用されたゴジラスーツとビル群などを使用して名シーンを再現しており、子供から大人まで楽しめるジオラマを展示します。「ゴジラ×モスラ×メカゴジラ　東京SOS」（2003年公開）をイメージした巨大ジオラマや、「シン・ゴジラ」（2016年公開）の東京駅での戦いをイメージしたジオラマなど、映画のシーンが目の前にあるような大迫力の展示がされており、ゴジラの世界観に引き込まれます。 その他にも、怪獣フィギュア約80体を一堂に展示するほか、歴代ゴジラ作品で使用された東宝映像美術所蔵のプロップス（撮影の際に使用する小道具）や、ゴジラ映画制作に欠かせない怪獣たちの造形検討用原型など、ファンのみならず楽しめる貴重な映画資料を展示します。また、ミュージアムショップでは、ニジゲンノモリ限定の描き下ろしオリジナルゴジラグッズを販売　するほか、併設のレストラン「モリノテラス」では、ファミリー層に人気のちびゴジラをモチーフに、淡路島が生産量日本一を誇る伝統的なおもちゃ「吹き戻し」などを作成するワークショップ「ちびゴジラなかよしさくせん」の開催や、オリジナルのゴジラフードの提供も行います。【料金】大人 1,000円（1名／税込） 子供   800円（1名／税込）

Godzilla Museum Pre-Open!

Nijigen no Mori's new attraction, the "Godzilla Interception Operation at the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center-", is the first permanent "Godzilla Museum" in the world, allowing visitors the chance to experience the Godzilla world in its pre opening on Saturday, August 8th, 2020. Upon opening, original collaboration goods and foods will be on sale and a workshop will be held to make party blow whistles featuring the motif of "Chibi Godzilla".

The world's first permanent "Godzilla Museum", has been created with the cooperation of Toho Visual Art Co., Ltd., the company responsible for the special effects in Godzilla movies. Famous scenes using Godzilla figures and model buildings actually used in movie production have been brought back, displayed in dioramas for people of all ages to enjoy. Powerful scenes are here, such as the giant diorama taken from "Godzilla x Mothra x Mechagodzilla Tokyo SOS" (released in 2003), or one depicting the battle of "Shin Godzilla" (released in 2016) at Tokyo Station, all seeming to happen before your eyes, pulling you into the world of Godzilla.

In addition, about 80 monster figures are displayed in a single hall, as well as props (small tools used during shooting) from the Toho video art collection used in successive Godzilla works, and monsters indispensable for Godzilla movie production. Precious movie materials such as model prototypes are also here, fascinating not only for Godzilla fans. Finally, at the museum shop, pick up original Godzilla goods designed exclusively for Nijigen no Mori.

At the attached restaurant "Mori no Terrace", in addition to original Godzilla foods, enjoy a workshop called the "Friendly Little Godzilla Workshop" where participants can make their own traditional toy blow whistles decorated with the character "Chibi Godzilla" popular with families. Awaji Island is famous for producing the largest quantity of such toys nationwide.
